Candlekeep: Part 1

Everybody was still sound asleep, when Rowan woke up at the first lights and started doing her morning routine, exercises and push ups. She noticed a folded piece of paper under the door: “A decision was made. The Guild will let you go”. And there was also a symbol, a circle encased in a diamond. Serafina confirmed it was The Guild’s symbol.

The Pig: Part 3

When the sun started to set, they walked up the hill to the slaughterhouse and at a certain point the group divided like planned. Morgan, Iwia and Rowan went to the slaughterhouse entrance where the guards recognized two of them from earlier in the day and asked: «Who is this person?» looking at the new face. «She is the boss,» replied Iwia, «the owner of the livestock.» The guards accompanied them in this big office on the second floor where a fat, bald, slimy man was sitting at a desk. The office looked like a normal office, nothing strange or out of order. The man said:- «Oh you must be the guys I was told about doing business with. My name is Eric.» Then he looked with what was supposed to be a charming look but came out as creepy, at Morgan, «Very nice to meet you» and got up to shake her hand. He pointed at two chairs in front of his desk so Morgan and Iwia took a seat. He looked obviously much more interested in her than anybody else but then he was told that the tiefling was th...

The Pig: Part 2

It was still early in the night. The five friends went back to the abandoned house to rest before the morning and at the rising of the sun they went to the fishery. Fortunately it was nearby and they did not encounter any guard (courtesy of Nine Fingers?). As promised, they found three big men and 2 children with a huge cart full of fish. The group was shoved in a secret compartment in the back of the cart - where they all could fit, even if packed like sardines. After maybe half an hour the cart started moving. They could hear the cart stopping at the main gate and the guards checking the fish and then granting passage to the cart, and finally they arrived at their destination. They got out of the cart, smelling terribly, and found themselves in the middle of a big open market in the Little Calimshan neighborhood. From there they decided to split up to be less visible (everybody was looking weirdly at the dragonborn, after all Baldur’s Gate is a city of humans). The market was very bu...

The Pig: Part 1

The group just stayed in the abandoned house, bonding, and telling stories about their past and eating the scraps of food they could find. They couldn’t use any fire or any light at all if they wanted people to keep thinking nobody was there. But after 4 days there was no more food and they were tired of hiding, so they decided to adventure outside, with the favor of the night, and try to find a way outside Baldur’s Gate. They had very little money so buying stuff was out of the question. They were still in the Lower City and their best bet to get to the Outer City was to get past the main gate, somehow. Still without a definite plan, they started walking in the streets. Some guards got suspicious - they were still on the lookout for the halfling - but Serafina stayed hidden so after a few suspicious looks at the weird dragonborn they let them pass without incidents. Note: The Flaming Fist is a mercenary company based in the city of Baldur’s Gate. The Flaming Fist functions as the city...

Chronicles: Prologue

Just a few days ago, in the Lower City of Baldur’s Gate, the owner of the Den of The Seven Vales tavern, named Avon Colton, recruited a group of misfits to rob a rich merchant that decided to settle there in the Lower CIty instead of the usual Upper City.  The group was comprised of: Two very young and rebellious tieflings named Iwia e Malakan  A soldier Dragonborn, also very young and spirited, named Sora A young human girl who wanted to steal to the rich to give to the poor, Rowan A small and very skilled halfling, Serafina, hired mostly because of her thieving abilities A not-so-young-anymore woman bard named Morgan  None of them really knows why a tavern owner wanted to rob a merchant or how he got all the information, but all of them were in that moment in need of money. The human merchant was known as Shander. He bought a big house not far from the tavern and eventually became really famous. It was clear that he was becoming richer and richer selling all sorts of it...
